like you said....add this ...shorten the shaft, move up joint and match joint size in your taper...itll be in the 700s, lengthen the butt and do what you did with the front half of the shaft...repeat it to the butts butt. Phenolic or wood/wood joint. itll spine up and play high toned.


Sounds good! One more of my probably never happen projects is making a three piece cue for myself. Three pieces instead of long and short to fit in a standard case, bigger diameter joint protectors to keep them from falling down the tubes. G-10 pins and joint collars that are basically just pads to keep the weight down.

Unfortunately I like to play with ideas. Never get around to testing all of them. Sounds like maybe you built an interesting toy or had it built. I'll make a note.
