Hello. Is a liquid or something you put on a phenolic tip to make chalk stick better? I thought I read something on here about it. I could be crazy as well. Haha. Thanks.

I always caught my opponent spitting in my chalk.

I guess he wanted to make sure my chalk adhered to my tip.

Crosshatching with a tip pick seems to work. Did it only once on my jump cue, it's been holding for almost a year

People are losing their minds, Get a piece of 60 grit sandpaper and take to it. The Chalk will stick.

I do maybe 1 or 2 turns with 120 or even 220 sand paper like once every 3 months or something. Removes almost nothing and does the trick. However, I've never particularly felt as though holding chalk was much of an issue on a break cue.

Hope it helps,

Thanks for the ideas everyone!
I had tried lightly scuffing with a willard's shaper but will give the sandpaper & tip pick a go.
