Does anybody know whats going on for rooms at the derby this year? A friend says he called yesterday to reserve rooms and the said they were booked. So i was wondering if they were already booked or if the hotel itself has a certain amount of rooms set aside for people coming for the derby and thats why they said they were booked?

Any info is appreciated

I would suggest going over to the Derby City Classic forum... there's good info in there... info that in fact, would answer all of your above questions.
