What am I seeing here? I can't figure out what happened after watching this clip for several minutes.
Without double checking the video link, looks like he cross banked the 12(?) in from a not so good position for the game.
He hopped the Cue ball over the 14 to miss the kiss.
That was on my list of possibilities. But at that speed, and distance between the CB and OB? How? He didn't look elevated at all? It almost looks like he got a mini kiss?

It looks to me like Grady hit ball first.
Im thinking center ball with a hair of left, slightly elevated and a punch stroke. It takes a slight over cut, the CIT and left throw the bank in, the downward punch stroke skips the cb to the ob, and hopefully hops whitey out of the way when it hits the rail.
