Anyone have experience with the QMD electronic stroke trainer? In theory it's promising but if it works why can't I find any merchant who carries it?

Its a great training aid. It will show you how far your stroke is off and which direction. It will give you top and side views.

I got mine yesterday. Tried it out a bit last nite on my home table. It is interesting and while I did have a fairly decent repeatable stroke, I did notice a little consistent swerve, ie 1/2 tip in the middle of stroke that I didn't know I had. I made a little adjustment and did see some improvement. This was only an initial playing around to get a feel for it

Looking in old archives.
Anyone test this lately?

Tell me about it. Does it work? Is it worth the mony it cost?
Especially if you are going to train the new billiard players?

It works, but I think it could use some reference to the charts. You need a good baseline to compare things to, like what is a good straight stroke, say what Buddy Hall's results would be.

I used it for a while, and captured data, but then I really can't tell if that data means I shoot OK or not. Is my swing too fast or too slow or pro level? Too much motion on the cue? If yes, how would Bustie compare? His would probably look like the EKG of a heart attack.

I am not 100% sure how it work, but you say I need a good baseline. Where can I get this data? Or someone else that have a near perfect shot line and use this QMD?
It would been nice to compare me with other if I buy this...

Might try that in the future ...
Just ordered this last night and will try it first:
