Never owned a Lomax, I know him from the Derby and have friends that love his cues. Wes Hunter I know and have owned at least 10 cues and loved each one. Have been my main player for the past 13 years. And you could not find a nicer couple then Wes and Cindy to work with. Every time someone hits with my cue they say the same thing, " Wow, that's the best hitting cue I have ever shot with". I don't think you can go wrong with either cue maker.
