Dani Sanchez's universal average was 2.243.
Dick Jaspers had the high run of 18 and the second high run of 17.
Seo of Korea had a game where he made 30 points in six innings.
In the first semi-finals game Jaspers faced Cenet.Jaspers ran 17 before the break but Cenet clawed his way back to get to 40 with Jaspers at 37. With equal innings in play Jaspers ran three to send the game to sudden death. Cenet (white) went first and shockingly missed the spot shot. Jaspers then made the spot shot to win the match.
The finals pitted Jaspers against multiple World Cup winner Haeng Jik Kim. The rubber in the rails must have been brand-spanking-new, making the table play short. Kim had difficulty adjusting and had 35 when Jaspers got to 40. He played yellow so he got the chance to equalize. After making the spot shot he left himself with a natural. However, the cue ball found the exact corner, just missing the third ball.
Bravo, Dick!!!
