Talked to Mike Bender about 4 years ago and Christmas Eve got a text from him that it was done. Planning on seeing him in a little over a week. Mike is working in Anchorage and lives in Delta so I don’t believe he is turning out many cues. This cue doesn’t push Mikes ability at all how ever I live in Kenai Alaska and fly 800 miles to work for two weeks than have two weeks off I wanted an Ivoryless cue to fly with. I really don’t think the ivory would be an issue how ever better safe than sorry. The rings are elphoryn, joint and butt are black phenolic, fore end is Red Mallee wood and black wood is Madegascar Ebony.

Duane,

Thank you I can't say Mikes Cues are the Best but I will say they are among the BEST. I have had 3 of Mikes cues over the years from a ornate cue to this simple one. The other two played and I am expecting this one will as well and really wish I had my first one back!
