Several months ago I fabricated a Purple Heart Fading Ring Pool Cue (My first solo conversion). I liked the theme but really wasn’t that satisfied with the final product. This pool cue is a continuation of that theme and I’m very satisfied with outcome. Enjoy the pictures. Any and all comments, suggestions or constructive criticisms are welcome.

Cheers

I dig it. I might suggest the length of the white and padauk grouping be consistent. If the first group is 1/4“ white and 1” wood, then have the last group 1/4” wood and 1” white. Maybe even have the last white section be the buttcap. MC Escher-esque if you know what I mean.

Thank you for your comment. I actually laid it out the way you suggested at first. But I thought it created a symmetry that affected what I was trying to accomplish, so I shifted the pattern a little.

I really love it. Too are my favorite rings are the plain white surrounded by silver rings and wood surrounded by silver and you used both in the cue. The wood is beautiful too.

I think the sequence is just a little off, but the effect is great. Dislike 95% of the cues I see here but this just really appeals to me
