I only know the super traditional classic spliced house cue was the "High Run". I believe this was a variety of woods into maple. Most typically cocobolo and perhaps ebony as well

Yeah, the two piece is called Excalibur....I sold lots of them.
Sold quite a few of the one-piece models also....but can’t remember the name...
...the price on them was more than double the normal house cues...
...the white part, btw, was called a flame by Dufferin.

They were also bought by cue makers for conversions

More than likely because it IS a flame.

BTW - they also made a flame-free model, more
Snooker-ish with a 12mm tip and less pro tapered profile.

I had the same cue, new old stock playing around for years and finally had it converted to a 60" steel joint, acrylic Hoppe ring.
Phenomenal cue, and very little had to be done in the conversion process.
Simple, super beefy, used a Schon joint he had in stock already tapered ready to go.

No mapleleaf, just said "made in Canada " on the rubber bumper
