Gabriels rail performance

I have a 9' Gabriels pocket pool table. The rails currently play exceptionately slow. Is there any way to adjust the speed (tightning, e.g.), or should they be replaced?

Call Fargo Billiards and talk to Mike Page. Maybe he can shed some light. They have plenty of Gabriel’s there.

I'd try tightening rails first. Just a little loose and a table plays deader than Elvis.

Try shooting the cue ball as hard as you can from the head to the foot rail and count how many times it rebounds the length of the table. Anything more than two complete trips, up and back, (4 table lengths) is in the ball park.
