This is only meant as an observation, but it appears that he did offer an answer to your question with his first sentence.

I'd have to agree that the peace movement of the 60s (and into the 70s?) is where the notion came from.

It didn't change. Name your terms. Put them out here right now. I'm calling your bluff so to everyone else (Nancy not withstanding.....) where did that come from?

And yes, I"ll give you half of the money I make off the video... not that anything will be made, but just in case lol

He may have been serious, but it was meant as an insult. So you really can’t take it
seriously.
I think that back then it was true. The hippies (liberals) were all about peace and
love, opposed to war, the true pacifists, but that was back then. Even then it wasn’t
100% true, but I don’t think 100% of liberals ever claimed to be peaceful.
If I understand the way some of you use that phrase or statement now, and maybe I
don’t understand it, but if I do then it’s been said recently, a claim made by liberals recently.
Maybe they have, maybe they haven’t, I don’t really know, that’s why I’m asking.
Who said liberals were peaceful? or is it a reference that is 50 years old or older?

There were the Weatherman, FALN and the Black Panthers.

I donít know the Weatherman, or FALN, but the Black Panthers claimed to be peaceful?
I thought they claimed to be warriors for their culture or their race, hardly peaceful. More
like an early version of the way some of you describe ANTIFA.
All I remember of the Black Panthers are photos of young men and women in leather
jackets with big Afros and guns. Not really creating an image of a peaceful group.
