For me CTE is part of my routine. Kind of a mish-mash of CTE/CTP-2-CTP/Ghost-ball hybrid. My question: i have no problem visualizing inside-edge to A or B(cutting left say) but when the shot is thinner i have problems. How do full-time CTE users handle/aim the thinner shots? TIA for any ideas.

For me, and I am not a full time CTE user, I aim thin cuts as follows.
I start with about a full tip of inside and with my head and eyes over this line I aim the tip through the cue ball to the edge of the object ball. Pivot back to center and shoot.
I've showed this to a few guys who were having difficulty and it helped them.

I like the simplicity. I'll give it a shot. Thanks.
