Me - US Navy 1969 - 1973
3 West Pack cruises in the Tonkin Gulf

Brother - US Navy 1968 - 1974
3 West Pac Cruises in the Tonkin Gulf

Son - 10 years US Army Intelligence to include Bosnia

Daughter-in-Law - 3 years US Army

Father WWII - D Day + 1
Battle of the Bulge, Purple Heart, POW

Uncle LaVerne US Army WWII

Uncle Leroy WWII - KIA by Japanese sniper in the Philippines

Uncle Ed WWII - Battle of the Bulge, Purple Heart and 1 of 14 of original 155 he started with to come home alive. Jumped out of a glider the night before D- Day with the 101 st. Lost an eye from machine gun round to the head, He is the last of our Greatest Generation. Turns 90 in December and has a pool table he still uses. I will call him today.

Son-in-Laws Dad - USMC in Viet Nam 1968

Wife's Dad, Both of son-in-laws Grand parents WWII vets.

If the ones that started wars had to fight them we would have more peace and fewer wars. My heart felt thanks and gratitude to all of you who served this great and wonderful nation.

At the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month we will remember you! May you never be forgotten!

Strapping on the old Govt. Mod. 1911 .45 and heading to my garage to shoot pool with a cup of coffee and Otto the Schnauzer. I'm feeling patriotic.
