Forum Posting Question - Opinions or Rules Guidance Needed

Before I go posting something I'm not supposed to (or is frowned on)...

I've seen several posts in the "For Sale" section regarding the trading of non-pool related items in exchange for pool-related items (and vice versa).

I've searched the forum to find the rules/regulations/suggestions regarding posting on AZ...and I can't find the forum rules.

Is there a rule regarding this type of posting (or where can the rules be found)?

If there's not a rule regarding this, is this frowned upon by the majority (again, if there's not a rule in place)?

I'm not kidding...I've spent the last week (off and on) searching this forum for the rules. I wanted to find them before I posted this question so I didn't look like too much of a moron...

Then, right after posting the question...I glance up into the "sticky posts" and see "Forum Rules"... I can hear my father's voice now..."IF IT WAS A SNAKE, IT WOULD HAVE JUMPED UP AND BIT YA!"

See...post a question...get the answer...I'm such a moron!
