About 4 years ago Steve Dunkel built a cue for me and it’s been my only cue. I am totally happy with the cue. It’s sweet plays great looks great and Steve was easy to deal with discuss options listen to my thoughts and offer suggestions. I can not speak to any of Steve’s other cues but from my personal experience and the treads of others on this site if you are contemplating a cue from Steve go for it you won’t be disappointed. Having said that shortly after getting my cue from Steve I discussed with a friend having him build me my last cue. Steve’s cue does have some ivory in it and when I fly to visit family and friends I like to take my cue with me. I don’t travel as much as I once did and have never had a issue with my cue but that doesn’t mean I might not run across an official having a bad day and giving me one. Christmas Eve my buddy sent me a couple of photos of my simple ivory-less cue. Since we are all cue buffs thought I’d share.
