Why does pool attract so many broken, crazy, Degenerate, mental type people.

They like to use pool to let everyone know what a Badass they are, i could tell you, but I will show you,

It's an entertaining show and I enjoy taking it all in, in my quiet corner of the room

Look at all those pool players that think you can hit a 1/2 ball, that balls gave edges, that imagining points, fractions, and on on make those things real.

Society does not tolerate free thinking very well. Why this still surprise you is a mystery.

One thing those three have in common is their thinking went against the Establishment of the times. .......as yours does so you will suffer the intolerance other free thinkers have , do and will continue to do so.

They other get or they don't..........it ain't your problem if they don't.

My "name calling, hate speech, general bully tactics" have nothing to do with the debate. I didn't even read the whole thing. I just skimmed through and saw Jeff being his usual self and felt like throwing in my two cents about him. I never really even expected him to see my post since I thought I was on his ignore list. I just happen to think he is full of it.

He called me a child molester once, I'll never forget that. He would try to convince you that was not "name calling" since it's a "fact". I had no problem with TSA doing their jobs, and for that I am a child molester. He is a giant douchebag. It just is what it is.

Because it can be as closed world as you make it to be. You can hang around dark pool halls worrying only about making shots, get yourself lost in the game, in the cues, tips, cases, tools... whatever. Also you do learn about yourself allot and getting good is a drug on it's own

There is a lifetime of obsession and exploration hidden in this game, imagine if you went on a quest to try out all the tips there are currently on the market and shoot with each one couple of months there are years of exploration and study ahead of you, there will be more when you get to the end so there is no end in sight really. You would probably go mad but hey, you have tried them all

and that's just the tips imagine all the different equipment.

I really feel as though it wasn't Pool that attracted the thugs & degenerates. The culprit is money.

We had more than several gambling Pool Players in Tulsa, but most had some character before the advent of Casinos. The Pool Players left the Pool Room, sat down at a slot machine or Poker table in the Casino & proceeded to lose their Cues, Cars, homes, wives & any other thing they could bankroll some cash with... Now they have no character & nothing else... Too Bad
