I was asked by some gentleman here on AZB to show my abilities to draw the cueball with my new Revo so I had fun evening. Enjoy

Good job.

I get 14 to 15 diamonds of draw straight up and down table (diamond pro am..9') on well stroked balls with my revo 12.4 with kamui black hard tip with measle ball.

My wife hates it when I shoot those shots. We have cracked tile in floor now. I thought she was gonna kill me since the tile is discontinued . Ever time I practice that she reminds me and I end up not getting as much energy into the ball. Yep, I'm scared when she is mad .

To tell the truth, I don't remember the last time I "had" to do that in game. Although, when in dead stroke and amped up during game situations, those shots seem so much easier while being so much more impressive even though, I see less experienced players sell out when doing that.

Good stuff,

I went to the pool hall to take a ‘before’ video doing these shots so I could compare the Becue when I get it. I was shooting a few balls to warm up and shot a couple of the first shot and drew one to the end rail and out a bit and then on my first attempt at the second shot my tip popped off. I only took the one cue and this was the backup shaft as I had stuck the primary in a ceiling fan and knocked the tip off and chipped the ivory ferrule. Since it’s a 30 mile round trip I won’t be going back tonight but I thought I’d share the misfortune.

Hm.. I don't have a REVO to compare things to, but I will be playing at a place with newer rails and Simonis cloth tomorrow and will see how I do. I am about 100 points below you in Fargo so who knows how well I'll do, but would be interesting to see if it's the shaft.

I think my biggest issue with getting distance off the second rail would be unwanted english with a hard hit. I tend to swipe right on my stroke, so can easily kill the cueball with reverse.

I was wondering how you could hit that low on the cue ball with miscuing, and then saw the scoop/jump shot, lol. You are getting impressive draw for sure! What tip/hardness are you using?

Exactly, when I put unintended spin it takes at least a diamond or so of length off. I think I will put a vid in if OP does not mind.

As far as Fargo, that should not matter. I play a guy that can draw the color off the ball but plays like an APA 3....go figure.

Very nice. Also, love the wood grain on the table. But, where are the diamonds? I would be like driving my car on the highway without lane stripping. Just feel awkward.
