It's in good condition by the looks, but hard to tell how old. Some reviews say avoid all low- to medium-grade Brunswicks after 2000.
I've already suggested a Gold Crown or AMF Grand Prix, but the wife's got to like the looks, they just spent 2 years restoring a car and another 2 remodeling their kitchen. So I doubt they're looking for a project and she doesn't want to spend over a grand anyway. They'll keep the table for fun and family, and it will stay with the house when they sell in 2-5 years.
Without seeing this one myself I suggested they offer him $500, and don't pay over $700. But if it's utter junk that will give problems during setup and keeping level, I should tell them so.
Since I can't go see it myself, I'm trying to give them some tips what to look for underneath. I suggested to avoid any particle board or MDF, but without looking underneath myself, I don't really know what else to tell him.
Thanks for any advice.
