New Runde Shafts,$257

with steel joint ring collars made to fit my schon tribute

I had plenty of shafts made to fit this schon only to find
that I fell in love with the original one before I could give the others a fair chance

These 2 New Runde are excellent shafts,I test hit them,the wood is heavy and each shaft is really nice wood

I had bob choose the wood for playing characteristics only,but when the shafts arrived
they are perfect

12.75 mm is available

The shaft material is the micarta that Bob now uses on his custom cues

The older yellow stuff is no longer available and Ivory is no longer an option

The 12.75 with heavier wood is not going to be whippy
it is a fine playing shaft

At 12.75 ,it is still larger than what the top players are using

I only tried the shafts for a very short time so they are like new

If you liked the old R series schon,perhaps it was because Bob Runde
made the shafts,if you have any 5.16.14 cue it will accept this shaft

these are hard to get these days
