we have a guy on our apa league who is brilliant...neuclear engineer for TVA i think....anyway he broke his foot and he made a rolling, lockable brace for it. so when he was in the boot instead of using his crutches...this unit fit where his knee would bend normally and just rest on this device. he then locked 2 wheels with his good foot and could then pivot. once settled in he shot as normal.

it was amazing to watch and worked for weeks...now he is back on his feet and hasn't missed a step

Hay few months with the chick in your avatar will do!!! who would need pool!!

YouTube will be your best new friend. So many matches to watch on there. All the old WPC 9 ball matches are good to watch as well as all the us open 9ball vids and insidepool has lots of matches too.

There should be a variety of snooker tournaments in the next few months
http://www.worldsnooker.com/page/Tournaments/FullCalendar

Premier League is a series of evening matches, shot clock, a good way to waste an afternoon.

You can check here to see
http://www.worldsnooker.livesport.tv/
Low cost to watch - about $6 a month if you buy monthly, $5 a month if you sign on for a year.
The feed is a bandwidth hog.

The same stuff is available for free, but the feeds are lower resolution and less reliable

Study Jimmy Stewart in the Hitchcock favorite "Rear Window". Repeat what you observe right down to the style of clothing and voice patterns. You have time on your hands. Be creative.

Keep on keeping on

I had a hip replacement 2 years ago. My husband built a ramp down into the pool room and then taped a round shipping tube to the wheelchair to hold my cue and crutch. Friends would stop by, throw me some weight, and we kept on playing. Best of luck to you for a rapid recovery.
