I'm a bit bored and thought it would be interesting to make a general survey about everyone's skill level and exploits in tournaments just to see what people here have accomplished in the pool world. This a chance to show off how well (or poorly) you play. Of course you can make up answers, but where is the fun in that?

Don't worry about being completely accurate, if you don't know the answer to a question or don't want to answer, just give a ball park estimate or leave it blank, but please refrain from answers such as "I'm a D- so give me the 5 out and the breaks."

1. How long have you been playing seriously? 9 years

2. How many hours a week do you play on average? 10

3. What area do you play out of? Northern Japan and southern California

4. What skill level do you consider yourself? (feel free to use whatever rating system you are most familiar with) A

5. What is the highest skill level you have attained in a tournament or league? SA (A+ in Japan)

6. What skill level do most people consider you when gambling? A- or A

7. What skill level would you like to be? Shortstop

8. What famous pro does your play-style most resemble? Lo Li-Wen

9. What is your best and/or favorite game(s)? 9/10 ball

10. What is your high run(s) in that game? 6 racks in 9 ball, 4 in 10 ball

11. What are your high runs in other games? 68 in 14.1, 8 in 3 cushion

12. How many tournaments have you played in? (rough estimate) 3-400 maybe more

13. How many tournaments have you won? probably about 50-70

14. How many tournaments have you won in a row? 3

15. How many tournaments have you placed top 4 in? about 100, maybe more

16. What is the highest level tournament you have won? Local open tournaments

17What is the highest level tournament you have played in? Japan Open

18. What is the best finish you have ever had? (either tournament wins or placing high in a tough tournament) Best 64 at the Japan Open or 3rd at a regional open

19. What is the biggest tournament prize you have won? a custom cue or 60,000 yen (about $800)

20.What is the highest number of matches you have won in a row? (Its fine if the run spans multiple tournaments) 15

21. What big tournament(s) would you like to play in the future? US Open 9 ball, Derby City Classic

22. What do you hope to accomplish in your pool playing future? (tournament wins, league wins, skill level, etc.) Win a large regional tournament like the swanee or something. Cash in a professional-level open tournament.

sure why not... im at work, and not really doing anything productive :p

1. How long have you been playing seriously?
tough question, the army has limited my ability to stay in the game, as they like to send me all over the world without the ability to play
but started playing seriously in 2004

2. How many hours a week do you practice on average?
4-10 depending on how often the wife lets me off the leash (5 month old baby, and she works from home, so i try to help as much as i can when im not at work)

3. What area do you play out of?
have played all over, but currently in Crofton, MD

4. What skill level do you consider yourself? (feel free to use whatever rating system you are most familiar with)
Dont really know how to honestly answer this question... i would guess B+
but can pretty consistenly score in the 140-155 range playing Fargo

5. What is the highest skill level you have attained in a tournament or league?
8-13th in the State of IL in 8 ball back in 05

6. What skill level do most people consider you when gambling?
havent played for $$$ since 09

7. What skill level would you like to be?
i wanna beat the ghost even in a race to 7 nineball, more often than not LOL

8. What famous pro does your play-style most resemble?
i cant answer this without sounding like a dick LOL
but if you got Larry Nevel about a 5th of Jack and had him do 50 pushups before the break, it would likely ressemble my game

9. What is your best and/or favorite game(s)?
i think my best game is 7 ball, but play 9 most often

10. What is your high run(s) in that game?
5 pack

11. What are your high runs in other games?
most accomplished in my opinion was the only time i ever broke 100 in 14.1
ran a 122 ONCE

12. How many tournaments have you played in? (rough estimate)
50+

13. How many tournaments have you won?
15 maybe, but usually just little local 20-50 house tourneys

14. How many tournaments have you won in a row?
i dont really count it because it was just a bar box 8 ball tourney when i lived in AZ, but i won 8 weeks in a row and they told me i couldnt play for a month lol

idk... alot

16. What is the highest level tournament you have won?
wasnt really a tournament, but did a poker chip ring game in TX that was a $50 buy in for chips with unlimited rebuys, and after 14 hours of play i was the only one left and walked away with $6k

17. What is the highest level tournament you have played in?
State finals 4x, vegas 2x, APT 3 times, Fast Eddies tourney in Round Rock, TX (got my ass whooped by HillBilly)

18. What is the best finish you have ever had? (either tournament wins or placing high in a tough tournament)

likely the 8 weeks in the rinky dink 8 ball tourney, undefeated for 2 months with 6-8 matches a week

US Open, and DCC

About 8 years, when I joined an APA team for something to do.

Usually play about 10-15 hours lately, I think.

3. What area do you play out of?

Portland.. play in a bar.

Nationally, a B-.

Been a 9 in APA for almost 2 years now, made it to a local/regional A in October.

Shortstop.

No idea

Nearest future.. APA nationals, BCA nationals, then DCC

(Near future)Undefeated back-to-back seasons in APA. Eventually reach Master nationally and place in the money at a large Open(DCC, etc).

Played seriously for about 6 years then took 12 off. Been back in for about 3-4 months

2. How many hours a week do you practice on average?

20+ At least 2-4 hours a week night and 5-9 hours sundays.

3. What area do you play out of?

I've been told I am an easy 7 in APA.

5. What is the highest skill level you have attained in a tournament or league?

I defaulted at a 4 joining APA and league just started

6. What skill level do most people consider you when gambling?

High. Unless I hustle ;)

I'd like to go as high as I can in this season of APA for both 8 & 9 ball.

8. What famous pro does your play-style most resemble?

Considering I play more than I YouTube other people playing, I dunno.

I'm a solid 8 & 9 ball player but I really like playing the ghost at 10 ball and running as high as I can at 14.1.

10. What is your high run(s) in that game?

I've ran 8 racks off the break at 9-ball, ran 6 racks off the break at 8-ball, ran through 5 racks of 10-ball and got to 35 at 14.1, but I'm still trying....

I want play Vegas on the apa's dime but my teams need to pick it up lol.

I would like to finish APA this season as a 6 or above for 8&9 ball them try out BCA and see how far I can go with that. I just wanna rank high and if I go pro, cool.
