A cue with a story, I bought this cue from Scot Sherbine at Proficient Billiards. It stood out on his ready to sell cue rack, I asked about it and he shared with me that he had purchased a half dozen in process cues from the now defunct Libra cue when the shop equipment was sold off. Scot Sherbine installed the joint, pin, wrap and finish work. I would call this a Sherbine cue made from a Libra blank.
This one is a hoppe style with four veneered Macassar Ebony points into a birds eye maple nose and a Macassar Ebony butt sleeve. Smooth black leather wrap. I used the butt of this cue with a Jacoby Edge shaft and does have a few scuffs on the butt sleeve butt no dings/dents/finish breaks. The original shafts were hit a couple racks to get a feel basically new. Cue plays great and I know I am going to regret selling it.
Cue Specs-
5/16x14 piloted joint
Butt - 29 inches 14.5 oz (has weight bolt)
Both Shafts- 29 inches long 4.25 oz 12.8mm tip with Triangle tips.
Asking $875 shipped. Dave 919-608-0706 cell Sixten38@aol.com
