i have a Adam Balabushka ltd ed GB1, only 100 made. when rolled separate on a table, the joint raises a credit card off the table. together with a shaft, the butt, joint, and tip never leave the table. it has never been chalked. can anything been done to correct this problem? a local cuemaker say he would leave it like it is. but as a collector, i would prefer it be as perfect as possible. any input would be greatly appreciated. thank you

It all depends on what is causing the roll off. Sometimes it is the wrap that causes the cue to do this. Leather is bad about this as it is thicker in some places and thinner in others. With irish linen sometimes the cue maker pulls the linen back under to end the linen and this creates a high spot in the wrap that is hard to see or feel but causes a bounce in the butt. The only way to check for sure is to run cue between centers. You should get some bounce at the "A" joint but it should be very little.
