Received this case when I purchase a cue, the seller used it to ship the cue in it, does anyone know what brand it is, how old it is and if it has any value? Thanks for your info

I've seen a couple like that on this forum but don't know much about them.
It look from a by-gone time of pool. Looks like leather and fairly good condition.
No idea on value.
Someone on here shortly will know a lot more.
I would surely hang on to that. GL with it!

That's a very old case, maybe circa 1960's. I think Brunswick made cases like that for awhile. I can remember seeing them for sale in the billiard supplies way back when.

They are referred to as "Coffin Cases" for obvious reasons. 1960s to 70s. You will find a lot of older palmers come for sale with those cases. Great of shipping cues.

I bought a Joss West through an add in a pool magazine in the early 1990s that came in a new case exactly like that. It was very sturdy and a great case for storing a cue. I remember I didn't ever carry it as there was no storage. No idea where it ended up, I probably sent someone a cue in it.

A buddy of mine has a case like that. Thick old vinyl if I recall.

I had one just like it in the early to mid 1980s. It was a standard production case at that time.
