We were discussing larger butt size on another thread recently, and it occurred to me that there is still a dedicated following of the older standard of butt size, where the end of the buttplate was close to 1.300 inches, with a straight taper to the joint. That's a good deal larger than a lot of today's very slim cues. Most of my cues have "bigger butts." The only exception would be the Scruggs Titlist conversion (2nd from left), a bit smaller.
