Sad but true

They are closing July 8 and reopening a new room in Fremont in February. The room is being tore down for condos. The property is much more valuable in that respect. It was a greatly perceived room and will probably be as well received in Fremont. Which is about 15 miles n.w. of this location.

That stinks but if the owner can make a lot selling the land I can't blame him. I only discovered the place a few months ago on a business trip. It's 1 minute from the hotel I always stay at and I've made sure to revisit on the trips I've made from Texas. Nice room. 12 foot snooker table, with snooker house cues. Heated billiard table. Plenty of bar boxes and 9 footers.

That's too bad. Fremont sucks. I make it a point to never go there.

thats the truth, i dont live in norcal any more but when i did Fmont was not on the list.

the real-estate boom has not done pool any favors at all. used to be a cheap date, now it costs too much $$$ to play IMO.
