Always been a huge fan of curly maple thats highly figured. I liked it so much that I even had a custom joss made with show grade curly maple and it looks amazing.
When I bought this though my initial expectation were just to complete a full mezz setup, (already been shooting with mezz shafts, figured why not) so I wasnt too worried about how figured it was going to be.
I was almost shell shocked when I got it. It was way more figured than I had imagined, so much more that it was almost as nice looking as the show grade curly Dan made for me. Sexiest simple cue I have ever owned.
So much so, I got another one (not as figured, so this one is going into storage forever lol. Yes I realize its a production cue and all, but its gorgeous to the point where I never want to get it dinged up or whatnot. Hell, it could even be discontinued down the road for all I know).
Anyways, enjoy. I might throw some pics of the other one so you can see the difference. Mezz cues are definitely worth every penny put in.
