Time in Tunica...

I was there from the 21st thru the 28th. Aside from the way I performed, the time spent there was well worth the trip! When the temperature in the tournament room finally reached a tolerable level (Wednesday) spectating was enjoyable. I wish the pros would have been in the convention center and the amatuers in the casino. It was tough to decide between a good tournament match and a good action match, and since it took about 15 mins to go between, a choice of one or the other had to be made. Also, the convention center was never at an uncomfortable temperature, never needed gloves and toboggan with my down jacket. All in all, it was a great time and I certainly hope it continues...

I can't be reading your post right. Did you say the convention center was cold? it was extremely hot all 5 days i was there inside and out. Especially if you were playing. Plus having to go out and smoke in the 100 degree weather plus humidity. uggh

The first couple of nights at the tournament room I had to change to a long sleeve shirt, it was freezing in there.

No...

No, I said the convention center was never uncomfortable, unlike the tournament room which was about 20 degrees too cold until Wednesday...
It did get warm in the action room when it filled up with people...but the hallway was cool enough to cool down if needed. By the end of the week, everyone was smoking in the convention center anyway...

except for me. I thought the temps were terrific in the event center. I am used to a very hot poolroom so the cool temps were a welcome change for me at least.
