Pretty easy to do, all I needed to google was 'North Carolina' pool cue maker.

Yeah, I went down the spelling route for about three minutes. Then I just looked for lists of cue makers from your area and looked at the last names starting with 'S', presuming that no parent would give a kid a fifteen-letter, four-syllable first name. You'd be surprised how often that works for custom cues--they tend to stay pretty local unless they are a bigger name.
