Deuel versus Chohan

For you one pocket fans, in your opinion, what kinda weight would Corey need to play Chohan for some serious cash?

Chohan is one of the most creative guys playing one pocket. He does not, in my opinion, play at Dennis or Alex's speed.

Corey also is very creative and thoughtful in his approach to the game but I don't know if he could beat Chohan without weight.

9-8, 8-7 would be close. But I'm not trying to match them up. They will have to do that themselves. :)

Didn’t Deuel just take out Alex recently in a tournament? He’s gotta play a little sporty beat him. I know it’s a tournament, but still.

As one data point to base this speculation on, I was sitting next to Tony a few months ago when Shane walked by. Tony, with a sarcastic smile on his face, called out "wanna play some one pocket?", knowing Shane didn't want to play him even.

Shane walked by and smirked, but walked back about a minute later and said "10-8". Tony rolled his eyes, Shane smirked some more, and there was no further discussion (and no game).

So, somewhere in between there is where those 2 players line up.

Shane should've said I'll give you the 5 ball playing 10 ball & beat your eyes shut with it.

I agree with this...Corey is creative, like TRex, but not as much of a one pocket specialist.
Coery's game would come up a ball if he played a couple long matches.

I would pay to watch them play.

I too would pay. I always like watching Corey. He’s rarely winning big things like some of the top name brand players but he’s often in the mix and always doing something interesting.

I agree.

I love players that are only able to play one particular game. They always have more weaknesses than a well rounded player will ever have.

Being a one table player is just as bad.

By being a "one game" only player, they are more out to be a sheep than the Goat.

Only able to play one particular game? Lol. He did win the 16 man 10ft 10ball tourney at Big Dawgs. Svb, alex p, Busti, orcollo, etc etc where in it. He may be the underdog against top tier rotation players but he dosnt have to lose to anyone.

The spot would go up in Corey vs.Tony match up, i'd imagine 10/8 - 9/8 would be a fair game. Now who decides the table and specs, and where this match happens is the stuff to bicker over.

P.S. I'm tired of these fake matchs for " supposed " monies in the background, we all know by now they are playing for appearance fees and a % of the stream revenue, thats not gambling by any means.

Real money, no business, gambling and Corey takes this one down very slowly.

I suggest 13 ahead for 50K, no breaks. I wanna see Tony going into hour 20 melt down and rocket fire.

If you think Tony can only play one game, come up with a decent size barrel to shoot at him playing 10-ball, and I'm sure he'll be happy to take it from you.

He may only be a world-beater at one game, but he still plays the rest at a pro level. He's a fargo 750, and there's no one pocket in fargo at all.

At their level of play:

World beater level is all that counts.

All you guys need to remember that when you bring up names of "world beaters"....well, that's the direction that any intelligent player will take.

I never said he had to lose to anyone. What I did say....and I'm saying now is:

He's only a world beater at "1" game.

BTW, winning a rotation tournament every 10000 years only proves that "any" mid tier pro is subject to snap one off at some point.

Hey, I'm a Tony fan. I love watching him play 1hole. Tony has skills in all games but, 1hole is the only game he is considered a favorite to win. Even then he isn't the favorite with the true elite.

Me?????? Really??? lololol... anyone that knows me and my skillset knows that I'm out of my league with anyone that has a fargo of 725ish or higher regardless of the game. Hell, I don't consider my self the favorite playing anyone above 690ish.

680ish and below, yeah, I like it. Otherwise, I had better be at my very best and get all the rolls ir I'm nit gonna like it.

Having said that, why waste time throwing out the "come up with a barrel"....lol...

I appreciate it but, I thought the conversation was meant for "world beater" levels of skill.

Facts are facts. Why make it personal?
