What is it about playing pool that makes it so addictive?

Pool is a lot like sex.

The tips of the pockets are referred to as TITS
The Kiss Shot
You've got something long and hard in your hands stroking it...
When the ball goes into the pocket .. It is Deep into the hole.

You make a great shot, only to have the cue ball scratch in the corner pocket... Screwed with no Kissing..

Most players have to Bend over to do it well.

You hardly ever get your money back after you've played so well.. either your opponent gets it or the house charges you for time..

It's almost like getting married.. all the promises of a long and happy life... and all you really want to do is make a ball in a pocket and get shape on the next ball... and have someone say, every once in a while... "Nice Shot"

MonoSodium Glutamate, otherwise known as MSG. There is an obscene amount of MSG in pocket billiards, making it addictive.

This is the ugly truth that no one wants to talk about.

Lab studies with rats, 8-ball being the gateway game, then moving on to 9-ball and eventually straight pool. There is no other explanation why you be riveted to watching someone make 526 balls in a row making shots that your grandmother could make in her sleep.

If you shift the letters BCA 14, 9 & 8 it spells MSG. Further proof that they were funded Bilderburgs and the Rothschilds...

Wait, this isn't NPR.
