PRICE DROP, need to move it for other priorities, For your consideration a Randy Mobley wrapless Cocobolo cue. In excellent condition, beautiful cocobolo butt with ringwork at butt, joint and on each shaft. Cue weighs 18.75 ounces with either shaft. Butt weighs 15.25 oz each shaft is 3.5 oz. Includes 6 in extension that screws into butt, extension weighs 2.5 oz. Mobley JP's included. Straight together or apart. I have been to Randy's house/shop a few times over a decade ago and once gave him an old Hoppe full splice he built into a players cue that he personally played with.
What some here don't know is why those shafts are the same weight. Randy actually goes north and selects the wood maple at the source.
Then cuts the shaft blanks for each cue as pairs from the same blank with matching grain, and turns and drys them repeatedly for what seems like eternity,
hereby providing a cue with weight matched shafts with near identical wood grain. His shafts are some of the most unique and best in the industry, IMO.
If I wanted custom shafts made, his would be a no brainer. Just passing a little info on his unique shafts many may not be aware of.
Good luck with the sale. They are great cues. Randy is a great guy.

Thanks auction guy, his cues are something special for sure. A high level of cue making precision evident all around. Bumping it up.
