So this happened at the US Open, 11-0 win, opponent made 0 balls.

I know there have been a few 11-0, 9-0 wins in major tournaments. Has anyone seen one when the opponent made not a single ball before this?

I don't mean when the player just breaks and runs out the set, when the other player had a chance at the table.

I played a set about a week ago and got blanked.

I almost made a ball.

A few years back, I agreed to play for $10 a set. The guy ran the first 5 racks, left me hooked in the 6th, I hit a legal shot but left him open, he finished that rack and ran the next 3. I hit the cue ball once in 9 racks. He seemed surprised that I quit. I paid him $20, no problem. I wasn’t upset and I am pleased for him that he finally “got his attention” and played so well. But I was paying to watch and rack for him.

Parica shot a 1.000 against Tony Ellin at the Legends of 9-Ball.
Ellin got to the table just to push-out.
Parica won 11 zip.

The positive spin - Wang can always claim he lost a race to 11 to Wu at the US Open (not giving the score) having legitimately only missing 3 shots in the match!
