I am starting to collect a lot of cues (7 now with additional shafts and growing) and was wondering thoughts on how to best store them. I have read that vertical is best. I assume butts with joints up (and with joint protectors) Shafts (with joint protectors) with tips down? Is it ok to keep them vertical in cases? Separate 1x2 cases? Several larger cases (3/6, 4x8 or a dealer case)? Was thinking of getting a flute case from Oregon Flute (http://www.oregonflutestore.com/home/ofs2/smartlist_24/protective_flute_cases.html like the condor or another larger one) and using cloth storage bags that hold a butt and 2 shafts. Right now I have Thoughts and advice on all this would be appreciated.
