Congratulations to The Lion Alex Pagulayan for taking down the White Diamond Super 9-Ball!

Alex made his way back from the one loss side after Alex Calderon beat Pagulayan in the final four winners match 7-6. In the Finals, Pagulayan won the first set 7-5 and the 2nd set ended up a hill hill thriller with Alex P. making an incredible shot to finish out the last rack and capture the title.

Excellent job by Alex Calderon for finishing 2nd. Shane Mcminn took down 3rd place with some great shooting and Brad Weast earned a tough fought 4th place, Great job everyone!

PoolActionTV would like to give a hearty thanks to Chris Miller, owner of White Diamond Billiards for hosting this amazing event as well as TD Ashley Klein for making sure everything ran smooth as silk.

We would also like to give a warm thank you for some great commentary by Mary Kenniston, Barry Emerson and Alex Pagulayan himself.

Special thanks to all of the local sponsors as well as our regular PoolactionTV sponsors for their continued and valued support!

Next event will be Griff's 5K Added Turkey Shootout Nov 22-24th at Griff's Bar & BIliards in Las Vegas! See you all then!!!

Alex went into Dead Punch, total Beast Mode those last few matches after he lost the final four winners match to Calderon.
Wow what a final match that was
That shot Alex made at hill hill off the end rail was amazing lol

LOL, enjoyed the stream, but couldn't stay up all night to watch the semis and finals.

Is there any way for those of us who paid to access after the fact?

This is the second set of the finals. It's Hill Hill. $7000 on the line for one game of 9 ball on a valley bar table!

White Diamond Billiards Super 9 ball. Alex Pagulayan lost to Calderon in the final four winners match. Pagulayan then comes back from the one loss side and wins the first set! The second set goes Hill Hill! It's Calderon's break. He has to play a safety but let's Pagulayan see the ball.

Calderon is such a monster on the barbox. Pretty gross he makes 3 balls on the break and is almost frozen to the two ball. The lion came with a great shot after Calderon's safety attempt.

That is the difference between a Champion and a very good player. Calderon played a decent but not great safety. I think Alex P. would have hooked him if the situation was reversed. And then Alex P. came with a great shot on the two ball to get perfect on the four. I doubt that Calderon would have made that shot, if the situation was reversed. I've seen this same movie too many times and it almost always ends the same way with the great player getting the Gold!

Alex C. plays out of the same pool hall that I do in Houston and I'd see him as the favorite to make that shot that Alex P. made more often than not as well.

You can see when he played that safe on the 2 that he wasn't happy with it as the edge leaked out and he knew that Alex P. was capable of making it and getting out from there - which is what happened. Tough to make 3 balls on the break though and then have that leave on the 2 - not much justice on the pool table at times.
