Found a private club 10 miles from my home with a nice Brunswick 9’ (ball return). Cost $35 to join, play for free. None of the locals have ever even HEARD of 14.1, so would like to find an old duffer like myself (sub-100 ball runner) in the area who still remembers the game. Problem is, though the place is dead late mornings/afternoons, unlike a poolroom where you can have the table until closing, when other members arrive in the evening and want to play, we would have to quit. Also, lighting could be better (4’ bar table light), and you never know when one of the local barflies will feed the jukebox. Club is midway between Chicago & Indy.
