Never played anyone that AzB would know. I played straight pool with a guy that *looked* like John Schmidt. His name was Tyrone from NJ.

Also it’s possible I played Black balled the other day...BB were you in Springfield pretending you didn’t know what a 9’ table was, and that you had never played 1P..and then tangling decently before succumbing to my might? Most likely not but it could’ve been

I guess its kind of interesting to see the level of experience on this forum, but is it just me or has this thread morphed in to being a pissing contest? I now regret having contributed to it myself. Perhaps we could include a little detail as to which of these known players weve played stand out for whatever reason, which players provided the most memorable experiences, and which players had the most positive impact on our own pool games from that point that our lives crossed paths?

For me, from the various players listed in my previous thread, it would have to be Allison Fisher. I arranged for Allison to appear in an exhibition / event in our new pool room in 1996. When I asked her if shed consider playing a male pro player in an exhibition match, she didnt hesitate. You have to remember shed only been playing 9-ball for a couple of years at most, following her snooker career in Britain. She absolutely destroyed the poor guy, which confirmed to me that she was even better than I thought she was.

Nah, if it was a pissing contest I would have mentioned that I had beaten every player on my list, except Parica.
