Not sure if this was mentioned...this would be a decent test. Team CSI is no joke.

Thank you. Appreciated.

Did it mention if it was to show or win? Per player or team?

Forget the money for a second. I think it's a good test for Team USA.

Nice!!! If we're going to be competitive year in and out, the US needs to have more of these event throughout the year to get used to the format.

Who is the Team CSI coach? What happens if they win?

It might be a little embarrassing if Team USA gets beat and it could happen against this line up. No soft warm-up match by any means.

Nah.
They could lose for sure.
That line up is tough action!

Mosconi Cup is a different animal with the crowd and
$ involved.

They can lose this and still crush team Europe.
(He says in his best wishful thinking voice)

No easy warm up.

This will be a cool Minicup for sure and a perfect preparation.
Which makes me wonder, if the Europeans should take this more seriously. The US team has not just won last years cup, but beat Russia two times and England one time in their preparations.
I don't know what team Europe does to get in shape, but I wonder, why they don't play a warm up event.

Incredibly tough team! Not a mere warmup at all. Team USA will have to play very well to win.

I like Team CSI’s chances against Team Europe or Team USA. IMO, three of Team CSI are among the best in the world. The other two are close.

Two of the Top Canadian's. I'm calling it the "Maple Leaf Cup". This is tough action for Team USA.

Has anybody noticed how Mark Griffin always comes with a cool pool idea? He belongs in the BCA's Hall of Fame.

Great idea! Team CSI's strongest member is Alex, of course, but the other four are capable beating any world beater on the face of the planet.

Long live Mark Griffin! And USA, ALL THE WAY, of course! :)

He's ours. We Americans adopted him when he got in the HOF this year. Sorry! :grin-square:

CSI is a tough team. I have a hope that this will all someday spin off into another annual challenge. When I first saw the ABN dream challenge I didn’t know much and I thought it was a soft warm up event but now I know better. It was another team of killers. They just all looked so young I figured they were good amateurs who happened to be playing lights out lol.

Now we’ve got another team and MC warmup event. I’d like to see something with 4-5 teams whittling each other down

Team Play Mosconi Cup/Semi-Pros?

This venue, each year seems to be getting more successful/fun/engaging and good for the game.

What I'd like too see, is a semi pro event (bar table)....where Each state of the Union creates their Best team (no pros allowed).

Divide the country up into quadrants.

Have the best 2 E. Coast teams battle it out....and the W. coast do the same.

Now you have and the East Coast against the West Coast so tah speak.

During the collegiate 14.1 days, they did this type of formatting, to create the finals.
