First off I can assure you especially if there is a Filipino or Asian playing in the finals there is big money being bet in house and online
Secondly in Europe you can bet the Euro 9 ball tour and they been betting snooker for decades, do they ever have a dump of corse they do but it’s rare ,

I agree. The gambling on snooker is pretty closely monitored/regulated. They do occasionally nab bad actors but they are swiftly dealt with in most cases. I have no problems with allowing it in pool. With Matchroom increasing its visibility i think it won't be long before they at least try it.
And the punishments are severe. Sometimes a lifetime ban.
20 or so players investigated, 4 arrests, 0 (zero) convictions?
Though the Thai contingent definitely seems hardcore in their ways.

If he doesnt make money-we wont have the tourny or the matches. Do you think he is a philanthropist? Plenty of pool players dont understand why they have to pay for Time or coffee either-I know at least 5 of them.

Barry Hearn knows what to do. Look at the prize funds for world snooker and
PDC darts. Why can they do it without charging some kind of PPV rate like
it’s the heavyweight championship of the world?! The coverage is on their
version of ESPN (sky sports) and FS1 (ITV4). Think about that. Setting your
DVR to watch pool because you already pay for a sports package.... or get
ripped off while supporting a lost cause. Are you pretending that this works??
