I am winding it down,I had a ton of fun the last few years
I still have a group of cues coming but after that I will be calling it quits

Would you guys please do me a favor and post pictures of the cues you got from me

There were some really great cues starting with the DEANO cue that i designed,
it was the first cue I ever listed on Az

The Gambling Mouse by Gracio.and then the Masterpiece by Paul Drexler,
The Jerry Rauenzahn 360 s

and the South West /Vigus,The SouthWest /Rauenzahn
the South West / Hulsey, The Two South West Reflection cues
The South West / Mottey Box Cues

Jerry and Laurie were close personal friends and she allowed me
to get special things that she would never have done,I get 2 cues every year and sometimes she substituted a regular cue for one of my ideas,I doubt I will
ever get another one but they were so special

THE BARRY SZAMBOTI WITH MOTHER OF PEARL,THAT BEAUTIFUL BALABUSHKA
THE RANDY MOBLEY

All ot the Schon Tributes ,special cues that Evan Clark personally made for me
with Ivory Joints,Cortlan Linen,Balabushka Designs, The First Hoppe style Schons ever made

The many fine Larry Vigus cues including the first Box cues

Bob Owen made so many great cues that I had, Box Cues , He must be King of the Box Cue
Talk about a talented guy,he can do any thing, any style Custom

THe Kling cue he made to to match my table,

What about the Scruggs and Cochran cues especially the last three
cues they made and I had finished by Haley,Searing and South west Cues
Collectible cues that you guys bought so we could all help the family

How about the Mottey Music Cue ,who has that beauty today?

And the Mystery Cues, how many times did we have fun, show your treasures
People thought I was crazy selling cues without telling what they were

And the Rusty Melton Cases, "Sweetheart on Parade"

TheJB special mouse cases

I admit I was too stupid to do pictures and I regret not having them now,but I ask your help in getting them together now in pictures

Please post the pictures here ,just for Love,or fun

Not just these cues but any of the cues ,great or small

Thank you,

Dean

I would also like to see the pictures signed by Ronnie,Eddie Taylor,Ed Kelley, and Jersey Red that I let get away

And especially my two triumph motorcycles that Will Prout horse traded from me

I can not remember all of the personal items i sold

Autographed books with shots described by Jersey Red and San jJose Dick

I knew it

YOU SOLD IT. I should have known when I asked about the picture you
took of me sitting on that wild stallion of yours. Bronc busters from far
and wide tried to break him but were unceremoniously thrown off in
seconds. Then you call me and Pam to come out to the Pondarosa under
the pretense of a little fun get together. Well in no time I had that beast
prancing around the coral clicking his heels as he went. You said I can't
find the picture. I know that you kept it under lock and key. Now you can't
find it. If anyone on here is the lucky one that bought it I would like to see
it again . NO QUESTIONS ASKED

it would be hard to pick a favorite

Right now I have a Bob Owen Box Cue,Larry Vigus Box Cue and a Rauenzahn 360
on order, along with Drexlers Wylie Coyote

My goal was to keep all of these, but my record speaks for itself,
I can not seem to stop selling

I had a few Balabushkas and a Gus Szamboti Box Cue with an Ivory Butt, that got me started wih Box Cues

South West Cues made me a bunch of cues I would love to have now,the ones they did with co-op
mottey,Rauenzahn.Vigus, Hulsey,Verl Horn really pleased me

They made me several ivory wrapped cues and even a handful of Titleist blank

I had 3 Gus Szamboti 6 pointers,and 3 o4 GSB,Gus and Barry co-op

When I opened my last Paul Drexler "Setting the Trap" featuring inlaid
pieces of Wylie Coyote and Road Runner my heart went BOOM

Mottey made me a Music Cue and a Cotton Club Cue with Bojangles,
The Cotton Club and Louie Armstrong with ivory scrimshaw

I guess I lean toward the theme cues that are not nearly as popular with
most people, perhaps because most of us only have a cue or two and
we prefer traditional design, but almost every big collection would
be improved with a Wylie Coyote or Gambling mouse

Look at Will Prouts Indian Collection on here and you will get the feeling

if it doesn't inspire you, nothing will

However if I could get any single cue back it might be my personal Balabushka that George made for me, A plain 4 pointer with a Hoppe ring
or my Gus Szamboti with Ivory from the a wrap to the butt

I do hope to see some of the pictures , I think it will make many of you smile also

Mottey and South West Scrimshaw Cues

Dean
Here are a couple of theme cues from my collection that came originally from you.
Both are stunning in person, and to hold. I really like both of them.

One is a Paul Mottey Music Cue, with Jerry Lewis and other scrimshaw work throughout the cue.
You will remember I had two Mottey scrimshaw cues at the same time, but you
really wanted the other one as part of our deal for the 1967 Triumph.

The other cue is a South West ebony cue, built in collaboration with Paul Mottey who did the inlay work and oversaw the Rashidi scrimshaw.
Again, flawless work.

This is the first time I have shown these cues online.

Thaks to all of you for posting some of the beautiful things I used to own

Will Prout, that 1967 Bonnieville Triumph 650 cc inpurple
has to be the absolute best motorcycle ever made

The music cues are so beautiful
and the Mighty Mouse case all bring back memories

The box cues by Bob Owen are lovely

Fortunately ,Bob is making me another one now

Wait, look at that Balabushka Tribute with the green stuff from the shop of George Balabushka

Phil, you let those ebony cues slip away,i thought i was the only one to do that

Oh,look at the south west cues that will has,Ferari, and the case didn't come from me

I miss these cues

Will ,do you have Mosconi's Balabushka that he offered me face to face for
$2800 in Ft Worth

I think we could make a case for me being the biggest idiot in all
of pooldom for letting these go

surely the case is solid
is it any wonder i have made so many friends in pool

if not lets show some of the rest of the cues that slipped through my hands

Thank You Dean Campbell

Dean occupies a special place in my heart and I enjoy his friendship.
I also participated in two of the Schon Tribute Cue Projects Dean created.
Dean's the reason I became a close pal of Bob Owen & Jerry Rauenzahn.
He introduced me to them knowing that I was a very demanding customer.

Well, his advice wound up costing me a few bucks....like four custom cues.
And know what? I wish I could keep ordering more cues from Bob & Jerry.
I was confident they could build the final two designs I wanted made and
again, thanks entirely to Dean, I am delighted to cap my collection with these.

Matt B.

p.s. Bob also went out of his way to produce a matching protector set.

Matt
i was hoping to hear from you and see a few
of you beauties

just imagine if i had all of these cues in one collection

and the motorcycles

i am still hoping someone post the beautiful schon tributes

when you consider all of these super high custom cues
a person might think that schons would not fit in

but I was as proud of those schons as anything i
ever participated in,Evan Clark really did some fine work

does anyone know where he is today

also that mother of pearl Barry Szamboti, wouldn't i love
to have it back?
