Very Nice Meucci Originals x 2 - Value Question

I have two very nice Meucci Originals, one is an OL-1 which, imo, is one of the best looking Meucci cues ever produced and the other is their Gambler in Hearts.

Can anyone with knowledge of these give me an idea on what the current values are for them?

I don't see either of them come up very often and when they do they're usually not in this cond.

TIA

best,
brian kc

Brian - I'll take the OL-1. I'll even pay shipping. PM me for my address!

I agree the OL-1 is one of their best.

I would think the 3-500 range is correct on them.

They both look great. I prefer that OL-1.

I really like 4 Point Meucci's. It's just a good look. Pure business.

Hey KC do some checking on that gambler. I believe it's the rarest of the gamblers! But not positive.

I agree the OL1 was one of the nicest looking Meuccis ever made if you like that traditional look- I do and I have one that is a real keeper- IN close to 95%/ close to mint condition- an OL-1 that is ALSO a Meucci Original should bring closer to the $400- $500 range- I think the $300 is a low ball on that cue. The gambler that you have could be even higher, although the spades suited cards seem to be more in demand from a price point. They are both very nice examples of two of the most desired Meucci original models ever produced.

I’m not a Meucci specialist...but I don’t recall seeing a Gambler in one suit....
...interesting

A couple years ago I saw a Meucci Original Gambler series in clubs (I think) on Ebay go for around $700. I'm assuming a little here, but if your stick is as pristine as it looks, it probably would be worth at least that much, probably more like $800.

I was certainly right, I’m no Meucci specialist....one suit Gamblers seem to be the norm.
...guess I got confused with Joss Gamblers, which I had a couple in stock in the 90s...

Sold my OL-1 original 5 years ago for $525 and
my son sold his Gambler original for $1,100 on ebay.
Two guy's got in a bidding war over it. They were both mint condition.

eBay is going to be the best avenue for both. Start at 99 cents and let 'em fly

Very nice cues. I just hope you're not taking any of these quick low ball estimates seriously. Take your time on these.

All the best,

The market gets worse for cues every single day. If it isn't carbon fiber or Southwest, it's a buyer's market. The collectors are all liquidating now.

The OP is liquidating a collection now for a guy as we speak. I'm sure any received offers haven't been close, if any have been received. They are primo cues, too!

Funny thing about the OL-1, when I saw it, I think it was the first Meucci that I though of that would have a good solid hit to it LOL

I have to say that it does not look like what a classic Meucci design is to me, that is more of the Gambler cue type.

.

Just my thoughts, OL-1 in new condition $550.

Gambler cue in new condition $650.

Might have to wait until Christmas or the next tax season.

This is true especially for the OL-1, i think the OL-1 will do fine
but the gambler is a flip of the coin. If you get two guy's in a bidding
war one could never know. Good luck, if you go this route start time
should be 9:00 pm est on Sunday night for 7 day auction. We found that best.
