cue repair lathe help/info - 02-12-2018, 09:08 PM

update: $1,200 obo. Free shipping CONUS.

Hi, I won a cue repair lathe on here back in late 2011 and I am looking for information about it. Trying to find out if it's from Bassel or someone else.

Here is a thread from when it was for sale.

http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=245381

I won it in a raffle but it seems most of those threads were deleted long ago. I don't think the seller is active anymore for many years.

I don't have much use for it and barely messed with it and I'm wanting to see what it's worth and if anyone is interested in it.

Thanks for any and all help. I am interested in selling it once I find out it's worth. I don't care to sell it for top dollar but I don't want to give it away either.

Michael

That appears to be a nice machine there bud .

The H channel frame it is built on is/was only available from Bassel far as I know.

The headstock and motor look like Todd's stuff,no clue on the leadscrew. Tommy D.

Someone put that together using parts from at least two different places. None are from me that I recognize.

Thanks Chris, that was the feeling I had that it's a combination of several different products. I searched a bit trying to find one similar to this one and had no luck. Seems to be a few people interested so far.

The lathe is located in eastern Ohio near Zanesville for anyone interested in a local pick up. I'll post my own pictures soon so everyone has a better idea of what I have and everything included.

Not sure I see the benefit of that leadscrew, there is no pulley or a way to attach a powerfeed.

Looks to be being used as the rack of rack and pinon...
