Pretty quiet year? - 01-17-2014, 08:21 PM

I would have thought more big cues would be in this thread this year. I have not seen Randy's Szamboti's show up in this yet. The Rosewood is killer!

Oh me....Oh my.......there it is...... the leader of the pack so far for this year's Cue of The Year Contest and it's a humdinger........WOW!

I know there's more complicated designs and I suppose if that's a major factor, then this isn't the cue. But if you want a cue that just says
don't you want to play with me....don't you want to hold me......don't you want to own me.......don't you know it will never happen.......gulp.

The stitch ivory/ebony Bushka rings look superb. What a "gorgeous" pool cue and this has to be a top contender in my opinion......Yesiree.
And the propeller design is just immaculate and everything in the design just clicks. Unless a better candidate comes along, this cue gets my vote.

Thanks guy's, it is a player for sure and Barry did a great job he even made the Ivory caps! He has done this design before and I think his dad came up with it but it is my favorite and that is why I asked for it! Thanks Scott, Matt,Jeff and Chris...

Ron,

I have a cue shortly due and it has propellers; I can only hope it comes close to this cue's inlays.
Your cue just set the bar height for my expectations because it is indeed flawless & beautiful.

Matt B.

p.s But it would look smart if it had a Cortland Linen #12 wrap....uh.....wink...wink.......any CL#12 out there.....I'm running out of time?.

The entry deadline for AZB Cue of the Year is this Sat, Jan 25th at midnight. I still have a few cues to post that have been emailed to me. The voting will start on Monday.

Lets have fun, keep it fair, and enjoy it to the end.

Ned Morris Custom Cues
1 of 1 The Silver Tulip.
This cue was made on a homemade pantograph machine and my hand.
I do not use CNC. This cue was designed while building. This cue plays
as good as it looks.
