Sure he'd fly from Florida to sunny Central New York for the CHANCE he can find a game? He'd be better off driving to New Orleans and have Jason Hunts backer make a game for him and Jason. Ain't gonna happen!

It wasn't a sales pitch to come out and gamble, it was just a counterpoint to "they shut the tables down so you can't gamble"

Forecast.................

The weather forecast for upstate NY is treacherous for today through the weekend.
Snow, high winds, and temperatures down to -16F for Saturday.
I always photograph at TS, but this time I canceled my reservation.

There may be some no-shows.
Mike Zuglan runs a tight ship, so I wonder how he will handle probable cancellations due to the severe weather.

TS is a great venue for fans to get up close to see the matches without any problems.
But, for the players, it's restrictive because the tables are shut down after the last match, the room is secured, and there's no Calcutta, no after-hours action, and not much time to practice.
TS wants everyone to eat, drink, see the shows and gamble at the casino.

Isn't it really just more a matter of this being a regional tour championship that fills up way in advance and most pros outside of the area just don't get in.

Spots are held for pros to enter. This is why the players list was published just 2 weeks ago, hoping more would enter. It is done every year.
