I have an enco lathe built back in the early 90s. Anyway Im looking for a steady rest. Ive tried to make them in just about every wood configuration but they are not stable enough for me. Anyone have one that will work and is willing to part with it please let me know. Thanks a bunch and have a great day. Mark

Mark, I have had a lot of good luck finding parts for my 1947-ish Atlas lathe on Ebay. It takes a bunch of time looking, but sometimes it pays off.

I believe the Harbor Freight lathe has the same bed.
You might wanna check them out.
