I have assembled, re-clothed and re-built approx. 150 tables from barboxes to 12ft. snooker tables, this week-end was my first 8ft. 3 slate chinese table. The owner was very lucky that I have a complete woodworking shop or I could not assemble this table. I opened all the boxes and started to inspect the parts, the main frame rails were so warped 'approx. 3/8" over 7ft. that I had to take them to my home and plane one side to have a flat surface. I have heard of green wood coming out of the east but these pieces still had branches growing out of them. I asked the owner and he said he paid $600.00 for the table so "you get what you pay for"
