Easy with inside ?

How come some shots ( slight angles ) are so much easier when you just aim a hair of inside and aim it at the contact point ?
It's like cheating.
It's pretty useful when shooting at the money ball b/c you don't need to play shape unless there's a scratch line.
You still need to shoot with a controlled speed and stroke , of course.
But, lining up is so much easier with some inside lined up to the contact point.

I'll bet there are just as many who think it's easiest with outside or none. And just as many "whys".

Cue ball deflects a little adding a hair more cut to the shot.
