You have to read through the links to realize that, astoundingly, she may not be receiving any fee for this speech at all.

The key is the weasel phrasing that they are 'effectively paying' her. That means not really, or in some other roundabout way.

Which claim links back to the Washington Beacon article from March, and payments she got for turning over her donor list database. Not for any speech, then, or now.

Note, if she were (as she is not) receiving $1 million for delivering an address to a fundraiser, it would be because her presence would gain far more than that in donations. A similar fundraiser headlined by a Nancy Pelosi speech raised $16 million, for example.

But this entire take here is BS. If she is being paid ANYTHING, they haven't showed it whatsoever. 'Effectively' lying their azzes off. Yes, that is anatomically impossible. It is a figure of speech. Just as this speech payment would be a figment of their imagination, except they are deliberately lying.

'Can't anyone here play this game?,' Casey Stengel once asked of his hapless NY Mets team. Here, these guys play their game all too well, but most don't recognize the game they are playing. Agit-prop. Making it up. And only semi-plausibly, which works only if people lack critical thinking, or don't check through to the links they mendaciously cite. But they know their intended audience, and know what works with them.

The point of modern propaganda isn't only to misinform or push an agenda. It is to exhaust your critical thinking, to annihilate truth.

And she never had any "classified" e-mails. And she and Bill have never "personally" received a dime from the Clinton Foundation, etc., etc.

I'm sure she doesn't do anything for free. What's being shoved to her "under the table".

You could just say your post was based on a false report.

You know, instead of changing the subject?

Or how about showing it was true? That would be good, as well. Maybe the best response, if you could muster it.

Personally, I doubt she is speaking for free. But from what they show (payments in January and March for something else), that seems the only conclusion from this article and its supposedly supporting links. In the immortal words of PRED, they got nuttin'.

The infamous donation to the "foundation". Otherwise known as tax free money for the dynamic duo.

Old News...FBI?

FBI launches new Clinton Foundation investigation

By John Solomon - 01/04/18 08:35

The Justice Department has launched a new inquiry into whether the Clinton Foundation engaged in any pay-to-play politics or other illegal activities while Hillary Clinton served as secretary of State, law enforcement officials and a witness tells The Hill.

FBI agents from Little Rock, Ark., where the foundation was started, have taken the lead in the investigation and have interviewed at least one witness in the last month, and law enforcement officials said additional activities are expected in the coming weeks.

The officials, who spoke only on condition of anonymity, said the probe is examining whether the Clintons promised or performed any policy favors in return for largesse to their charitable efforts or whether donors made commitments of donations in hopes of securing government outcomes.

The probe may also examine whether any tax-exempt assets were converted for personal or political use and whether the foundation complied with applicable tax laws, the officials said.

One witness recently interviewed by the FBI described the session to The Hill as “extremely professional and unquestionably thorough” and focused on questions about whether donors to Clinton charitable efforts received any favorable treatment from the Obama administration on a policy decision previously highlighted in media reports....
