It's about the best pool & that was the weakest match in that time frame, ethnicity be damned.

For the broadcaster, it is not necessarily about the "best pool". Like all broadcasters, they want ratings and to please their customers. North American and Euro (and I assume Asian) viewers are not their customers. It is perfectly understandable that they would choose a match involving two local(ish) players.

I will also say that the coverage is excellent. First rate camera work and crystal clear stream, with good score updating. And all commercial free. Quite frankly, if they had this announced and ready weeks ago, I don't think any of us could legitimately complain, aside from the fact that we were spoiled the last few years with 14 table coverage.

So of all the matches available they're now showing a Kuwaiti player & a United Arab Emirates player. Really?

It's not about the USA, it's about the best pool. In the World Championships when you have the defending champion Ko Pin Yi playing Jayson Shaw, one of the most explosive players in the world & you're streaming 1 table, that should be the match aired, not 2 marginal players from the Middle East. But you contort it into whatever you like.
